Zoo trip

Spent the day with our cousins at the Zoo. We had so much fun! The animals were all out and about and I had two helpers to carry tired boys! Nate loves petting the goats and we took a special ride on the train.

Bella

Nate got to spend another weekend with his "best friend" Bella. He took care of her the whole weekend. He made sure she had water, food, snacks and a good walk everyday. It was like having a small baby sitter at our house. Although Logan wanted to help take care of her too which sometimes caused a bit of a conflict. They both Love Bella! My favorite comment from Nate was, "Bella put the twinkle in my eye. I love you Bella!"

Wrestling Daddy

I just love these boys!!!

Dart Guns

Sometimes it's just fun to stick the darts on your forehead. Why not?

Happy Father's Day

The boys took their Daddy out for Bagels on Sunday morning. Logan loved his cream cheese. We spent the afternoon with Papa Jim where the boys got to look/play with the tools in the shed.

Grand Floral Parade

We (Me and the boys) just love parades. Daddy happily comes along too. This year we sat with my cousins and my parents. It was so much fun! The parade had some "dead spots" in it, but I just happened to bring my leftover Easter candy to share. We threw it out into the streets and the kids went crazy! It was a fun day with Oma and Papa Jim.

Dilly Bars

Sometimes it's just fun to get icecream!

We love hiding!

Artichokes

Thanks to a friend we tried Artichokes this last week for the first time. I was surprised Nate liked them so much but then he loves butter.....

Super Heros Parade

A Rose Festival Tradition..... the Junior Rose Parade (the largest kids parade in the US!) We had lots of fun. Oma came with us and we used our capes from the Amazing Race. I made two little capes for the boys too (Thanks Kathy for helping with the velcro!) Nathaniel loved "flying" by as the crowd cheered him on... till he fell and skinned his hands of course. Logan ran a bit too. They slept hard last night!

Bribery

Potty training was slow going... I guess I shouldn't say that. Nate is good about going potty when I remind him to, it's the poops that are an issue. He is in big boy underwear so it's a real mess to clean up (even though he attempts to clean up his mess himself by helping rinse them in the toilet- why should I have to do all the work?) I found these 2 remote control cars for cheap (under $10) at Bi-Mart and we decided to do a sticker chart for days that our poop went into the toilet and not our underwear. 10 stickers later (ie. 3 weeks) and we got to play with our new toys! Of course Logan was getting stickers along the way too, so he got a car as well. Lots of fun! And we haven't had to take them away for pooping in our pants yet either!

Potty Training

Because potty training is so much more fun with flotation devices...

Wild Hair

Logan always has wild hair and I rarely try and tame it.... but Nathaniel decided to give it a try. I was surprised Logan sat as still as he did. What a great big brother.
