Sports Class
Nathaniel had been asking when he was going to another sports class and I found one last minute with an opening. The class is only 5 weeks and each week they've done a different sport. Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, Floor Hockey...and one more to come.... hopefully not football. I keep telling my boys they don't want to play football or lacrosse.... how dangerous is that? Anyway, Logan has been able to participate a bit as well. He seems like a natural.... actually they both do. I just might claim my mom's altheticism here :-) Each class starts with a warm-up lap, jumping over cones and through hula hoops, running backwards, specific sport skills, and usually ends with a game of tag and a cheer.
8 Years!
Enjoyed an evening out with my honey at the Stockpot Broiler. It was 75 degrees outside. I can't remember having such a beautiful day in April since our wedding day!
Hide and Seek
Treasure Hunting
My neighbor came up with the idea of having a "treasure hunt" for the boys. I'm so thankful she hosted it and was willing to put forth the extra time and energy in coming up with picture clues. Jill and I supplied the "treasure" they found at each station (which honestly, mostly came from the junk drawer in the kitchen). You know, paper clips, marbles, stickers, etc. All three boys had 16 clues and Christy timed it perfectly so we didn't bump into each other looking for the same clue at the same time. It was super cute to watch them all run around. They were all so excited about their treasure that it was hard to keep them going on to the next clue. Nathaniel's clues had 2 baggies so Logan was able to make a treasure bottle at the end too. At the end we put the treasure in the bottle, then filled it with water and glitter. Shake, shake, shake... ooooo!

Tulip Fields in Woodburn
My favorite flower... the tulip! I love going down to Woodburn to see their beautiful fields each year. There were so many things to do besides look at the tulips including a little "cow ride", sand box, swings, pony rides, bouncy house and trampoloines. Nathaniel had a tough time choosing just one, but his memory of the "cow ride" back in October at a pumpkin patch tugged him in that direction. Logan enjoyed the actual tulips and even picked one... oops.
