Road trip - Day 6

The boys finally asked today if we were going to be there today. Oma has kept them so busy that they have hardley minded being strapped in their carseats! Today was a long driving day. We started out visiting a Dinosaur park 10 minutes from our hotel. Then we hit the road. We stopped in Wall, SD and enjoyed seeing what was still there and what had changed since I was a kid. After all the pictures we stopped in for a burger, fries, cinnamon roll, and ice cream. We also stopped by the corn palace in Mitchell which is decorated each year in a different pattern. Nathaniel had fun taking pictures with my point and shoot camera. We thought we would arrive a bit early but it was 7pm when we arrived at Uncle Paul's house. We were so excited to finally make it. The boys immediately jumped into the fun with my cousins who are their ages.
