Road trip - Day 2

We drove from Boise all the way to Jackson Wyoming on our second Day. It was a big drive but Oma kept it fun with all sorts of crafts. We also stopped for Subway and another stop for ice cream. We took a scenic road south and enjoyed the fall colors. The boys enjoyed a stop next to the river to throw rocks. Honestly, we could have spent a good hour there. Throwing rocks is lots of fun. One of the gas stations we stopped at was offering free potatoes and pears from a local farmer. So we picked up some canned chilli and had baked potatoes for dinner in our hotel room. Papa Jim took the boys off on an adventure walk while Oma and I got things settled in the hotel. Another fun day.
