Bulldozer Days
We've been waiting all year to go back to Bulldozer Days. This year the weather did not cooperate as well but I think we might have had even more fun this year. Logan was totally into it this year and hasn't stopped talking about it. We went a little bit later and stayed till they stopped letting kids get on the rides. We stood in line for a long time, but we took turns taking the boys to look at different areas in the quarry. They had lots of big trucks in addition to the bulldozers. And I think Nathaniel's hightlight might have been shooting the tennis ball gun and a big dirt wall. There was also plenty of carnival fair food to partake in. I think we had a little of EVERYTHING! So even though we were soaked by the end of the afternoon it was still worth it.
Me and my boys
Mother's Day was a fun relaxing day with my family and my Mom & Dad. The boys came racing into my room in the morning each with a pound of my favorite M&Ms saying 'Thanks for being my mom I love you!' How sweet is that? The boys also got some bath salts for a nice warm bubble bath later in the day. We also spent the afternoon with Oma and had a bucket of KFC :-) So nice to relax and not have to cook. We also went for a bike ride to a nearby park. It was a fun family day!

Pajama Party
I think this is our third family movie night. The start of a great tradition. Nathaniel has been counting the days. On Saturday we ran some errands and he was telling EVERY ONE about it. I was a bit concerned the gas attendant might be joining us :-) Christian and Loren showed up at 5pm and immediately put on their jammies. Uncle Stevie was working a recon mission with the boys and after a few pushups and situps deemed them fit for crawling on their bellies to find safety from the enemey on the couch. The boys were totally into it and were glad to use the dart guns on their mission upstairs which by the way was successful in getting the enemy to run for their lives. The movie tonight was Up. It was cute. Not as action packed as a Bug's Life. But they were all absorbed in the TV.
Dirt pile of fun

Ice Cream
We love ice cream at our house... and when we heard it was only $1 a scoop we couldn't resist. They both wanted Orange sherbet. However, I made Logan get chocolate in case he needed any help (and then decided to get my own after all). The boys said thank you a million times so that we can go again sometime.
Bike Riding
How can it be May already? All of our "routines" are slowly coming to a close :-( We are slowly meeting our new neighbors and feeling more moved in. We are enjoying a fabulous sunshine week. The boys are loving their new bikes. I cannot believe how quickly they are learning to balance on them. We have discovered a Nature park nearby and Love it!!!
