Potty Training
Well we've been at it for about three weeks now. Oma got the ball rolling for us and you'd think we would have been able to keep that ball rolling. Well... much to my dismay we have not made much progress... in fact we've regressed :-( It all started when we tried to go poo and it didn't come and didn't come, so we decided to let Nate run around bare buns for a few minutes before trying again. Soon Logan starting crying and I got totally distracted until I heard the words "poo poo Momma poo poo". Too Late :-( It was all over the white upholstered chair he was sitting on. LAME. It was all I could do to keep my sanity. Oh no Nathaniel, Oh no Nathaniel. And so I now keep him in a diaper at ALL times. I remember stories of when we were little getting M&Ms or Chocolate chips for using the toilet. So I started thinking about what Nate's incentive could be. I had some taffy and thought I would NEVER want him to have that except if it was something special and so there I had it! Nate's special treat for going poo in the toilet. So I didn't think that through all the way and now I'm sure we are going to have a terrible visit to the dentist someday! I should have thought of stickers as my incentive. Is it too late to switch?

Swimming with Daddy
Nathaniel has made alot of progress in gaining confidence in the water. He can kick his feet, put his face in the water (Daddy even plunged his head under as they went from one lane to the next... hey the big kids were doing it, so Nate wanted to do it too), and jump in from the side. What a big boy!

Roller Skating
So I was thinking that two years old is a little early to start on roller skates, but a momma friend of mine wanted to get out of the house with her duo so we took at chance at Oaks Park Roller Rink. Her mom was in town and watched the two babies while we took our toddlers out on the rink. Nathaniel's feet are still too small for the actual skates so they gave him the kind you strap onto your shoes. I got him all set then turned around to make sure Logan was taken care of, when I turned around again Nate was 10 feet away from me just walking as if he always wore skates!
