We had the pleasure of dog sitting for our friends last weekend. Nathaniel had a blast! His big thing waas trying to get him to "sit" and when the dog finally complied Nathaniel wanted him "up". Hard to please a 1 yr old! Poor Bronte was probably glad to go back home... although his family has two kids (4 & 2 yrs) that like to chase him around the house :-)

Pumpkin Patch
Tomatoes from the garden
Peanut Butter
The other day Nathaniel went into the pantry and grabbed the jar of Peanut Butter and brought it over to me. Then he said "poon?" Yes he wanted a scoop of Peanut Butter for a snack... just what Ken used to eat for dinner before we got married. Is he his father's son or what?
I gave him a small container of Peanut Butter and a glass of milk. He sat in his "snack spot" in the kitchen and went to town. Make a note... don't do this activity if you are going out later in the day. It's nice to have him occupied for a good 15 minutes, but it will require a bath once he is finished.

Zoo trip
Quack Quack
When I told Nathaniel we were going to go to the park to feed the ducks he immediately grabbed the bag of old bread and stood at the garage door. He was SO excited! We met our friends there and started to feed the ducks, but them some 8 yr old boys came by and shooed them away :-( We took a lap around the pond and came back to finish making friends with the ducks. It was a fun afternoon.
And what would a day in the park be without icecream? For mom of course, but Nate had fun with the spoon and the last drops of my Midnight Madness blizzard :-)
Oh the play structure was fun too.
