July 28th has come and gone :-(

We are still waiting for Logan to arrive. I think these Miles boys would just stay inside if I didn't ever give them an eviction notice (ie. induction!) At my Dr. Appointment today she said I was maybe 2-3cm dilated and his head is engaged at -2 station. Her next on-call day is Monday, so maybe Logan plans to wait until then. We scheduled the ultimatum appointment for next Wednesday where we will decide when to induce. In the meantime Ken has decided that we are going to go out as a family for a treat every night until Logan gets here. So I've made a list of my favorites: Chocolate Chip Calzone @ the Claim Jumper, The Poozookie @ BJ's Bar & Grill, Chocolate Lava Cake @ the Charthouse, The Great Wall of Chocolate at PF Chang's, & of course the Midnight Truffle Blizzard @ Dairy Queen. So Logan....take your time... I have some desserts to eat! What's your favorite dessert? Am I missing any good ones?

Bucket of Fun

What does a little boy need on a HOT summer day? A bucket of water...

One he can sit in....

Preferably with warm water...

Hours of fun

Pool time

Best deal of the season (at least for me!)... $4.99 and hours of entertainment... and I haven't even put water in it yet!

Waiting...

Waiting... waiting... waiting... when will my little boy decide to come and meet us? Meanwhile, I think I'll have another Midnight Truffle Blizzard :-)

Getting some beauty rest

I love this frumpy little face....

Birthday lunch with Keely

We started the tradition of taking our nieces out for lunch or dinner on their birthday. It seems that for the last couple of years both girls have chosen Red Robin every time. Works for us... it's one of Ken's favorite places to go.

Family photo on the 4th

We spent the afternoon with Ken's sister in Vancouver. She snapped a great family photo for us.

4th of July Tradition

Yikes! I better post these before the month is over! We always try to go to the Hillsboro parade on the 4th of July with our friends. The kids seem to love it and they always throw lots of candy. This year the Dads opted to do some woodcutting instead of the parade so Bonnie brought her 3 kids and my mom and nephew came with Nathaniel and I. We had a great time as usual.

So excited for the parade to start

Sidewalk chalk to pass the time...

At one point, Nathaniel was more interested in the blueberries that were handed out than the parade itself.

Look at all that candy!

Crackers

Crackers seem to be important to my son.

Don't turn your back... or else! I can only imagine what 2 little boys can get into.

It's JULY!!!!

Baby Logan will be here soon! 26 days and counting!
